Experiential Design: Media Preview Installation
FUNCTION: To promote music of artists /other forms of media interactively in physical spaces
AESTHETICS: Follows the aesthetics of the artist’s album concept/media’s theme. It has the same size as common pylon signs/mural type exhibits on malls
MATERIAL: Bare Conductive electric paint (cheap and easy to use), Bare Conductive touch pad, plastic, vinyl, or aluminum
MARKETING: can be installed in public places such as malls, parks, etc. to capture the attention of passersby
MANUFACTURING: Made in a factory by workers aided by sign-making machines
ERGONOMICS: Easy to use: audience touches the track they want a preview of in order to play a preview of a song, or audience touches the name of the character and the character says a line.
Mentor-led Design: Freestanding Wallet Phone Case
Derived from the cellphone wallet Card Ninja by Sunder and Kumar Jambunathan
FUNCTION: Portrait stand for the phone without need of extra accessories, as well as mini wallet
AESTHETICS: Sleek design, no front cover for those who prefer a frontless phone case
MATERIAL: polyurethane plastic for the case, since this plastic can be recycled and it is the most versatile
MARKETING: more people would be able to use it if it cases for different smartphone models are available
MANUFACTURING: Made with a molding machine
ERGONOMICS: Easy to use and understand: slide down the top part of the back in order for the case to form a stand.
